I haven’t done anything except SMR are rest for two weeks.
This weekend I’m getting back into my workouts. Definitely inspired after seeing coach take 5th at the regionals.
I’ve thought about my new goals, after hitting alot of the ones I thought would take me all year in the past few months.
I know Crossfit is about being the Swiss army knife of fitness. Spare me the “specialization is for insects” speech, I’ve heard it before and have had it with my self this past month. But I am going to devote my time to what i love.
Metcon and Gymnastics are my weaknesses. I will continue to work on them. But I want to be a strength/power athlete. If that means I don’t win comps? i don’t care. I’ll still compete. I’ll still post my times. I’ll still support crossfit and hang with my crossfitting buddies.
My short term goals:
Double body weight back squat. (154kg)
50kg barbell TGU
70kg Snatch
My longer term goals.
7.5kg above body weight snatch.
180kg back squat
205kg deadlift.
